Woodland Axe Throwing Adventure
Ever fancied trying out the fun activity of Axe Throwing? We challenge you to take on the Viking Warriors, and under our Axe Instructor's guidance, try out different types of axe until you find your Warrior Weapon! With our trained Instructor by your side, we can ensure your utmost safety and deliver an incredibly enjoyable experience. Before long you'll be hitting your mark, and ready to take your place on the Chieftain's throne.
Each session is available for up to ten individuals, absolute beginners welcome, however, you must be aged 12yrs - Adult.
Should your own family/friend/corporate group exceed ten, please contact us so we can make arrangements for your group size.
We head out for a short walk along the woodland paths to the Axe Throwing Zone. From here your instructor will run through the safety and demonstrate the technique. Then it is your turn! With the Instructor's support and patient tuition, it won't be long before you are getting to grips with the technique of Axe Throwing. Taking turns, the Axe Instructor will introduce different axes for everyone to try until you find your warrior weapon.
Let the instructor know if you wish to play for stickers, and challenge your friends/family to who gets to sit on the Chieftain's Throne of Glory.

- Our sessions consist of small groups, please remember other families may be waiting for you to arrive. Contact us if you expect to be late! More than 10 minutes, without contact, and we will release the dinosaurs back into the wild and you will be unable to participate.
- Safety is important, so please ensure long hair is tied back, loose jewellery/scarves tucked in/removed, closed toe shoes are worn.
- We recommend wearing lightweight layers, long sleeves, sunscreen on warmer days and insect repellant. A showerproof jacket is also very handy (all year round!)
- During lighter showers we work around them and shoot through, however, torrential downpour/storms are dangerous, and we may be forced to cancel with full refund.
Woodland Archery is available to all those aged 8yrs and over.
- We do not allow children under 16yrs to participate on their own, another person must participate with them.
- We recommend a 60 minute session for those aged 8-10yrs.
Axe Throwing is for aged 12yrs and over.
- We do not allow any children under 16yrs to participate alone, another person must participate with them.
- We recommend a 30 minute session for those aged 12-16yrs, or combine it with the Woodland Archery.

However, to maximise your enjoyment of the session, it is really important to tell us during the booking process if anyone has any additional support/health support requirements. We have strict ratios in place, and specially trained Archery Instructors that can ensure you all have the absolute best time ever!
