Combat Archery - like Dodgeball but with a Bow and Safety Arrows!
Whilst ensuring your utmost safety, we welcome you to an exhilarating, and addictive team game of Combat Archery! Similar to Tag, but using the woodland arena as the natural battlezone, instead of inflatables. Minimum of 8 participants required, so gather friends, family, and colleagues together, and enjoy a 1hr tactical game play. Using stealth and team work to take down the opposing side. We play several short games, keeping the energy high and challenging your sniper skills.
Last Archer Standing - when we are confident that you are ready we blow the whistle for Last Archer Standing - Turn on your team mates and see who is the Last Archer Standing!
Absolute beginners welcome, however, you must be at least 12 years old for this session. Safety equipment is provided and must be worn at all times whilst in the arena.
After a quick but thorough safety briefing and instruction, we head out along the woodland paths to the starting point of your Combat Archery adventure. Your group will be divided into two - this can be organised proior to your arrival. Games begin with a quick practice to get everyone used to moving within the woodland arena whilst wearing safety equipment - including full head/face protection.
Object of the game is to work with your team mates to shoot the opposing team players. Each person shot is only out the game for less than a minute to ensure more fun is had by everyone. The referees decision is final! At least Two Instructors remain with you at all times to keep the game flowing and ensure a fair and fun game.
This session can be added to Woodland Archery and Axe Throwing to make a Bowhunter Experience tailored for your group. Get in touch to discuss how we can make your session the very best of Woodland Adventures

- Contact us if you expect to be late! More than 10 minutes, without contact, and we will release the Combat Instructors back into the wild and you will be unable to participate.
- Safety is important, so please ensure long hair is tied back, loose jewellery/scarves tucked in/removed, closed toe shoes are worn.
- We recommend wearing lightweight layers, long sleeves, sunscreen on warmer days and insect repellant. A showerproof jacket is also very handy (all year round!)
- During lighter showers we work around them and shoot through, however, torrential downpour/storms are dangerous, and we may be forced to cancel with full refund.
Combat Archery is for aged 12yrs and over.
- Combat Archery requires a minimum group size of 8. Get in touch if you drop by one participant.
- We recommend a 60 minute session for those aged 12-16yrs.
We are inclusive, promoting and supporting Accessibility to All. This session involves moving over uneven ground within a woodland area, with a safety helmet restricting sight. Chat to us if you are unsure of the suitability. To maximise your enjoyment of the session, it is really important to tell us during the booking process if anyone has any additional support/health support requirements. We have strict ratios in place, and specially trained Archery Instructors that can ensure you all have the absolute best time ever!
